I was honoured to be a presenter at the recent 2026 Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference (RPIC) in Singapore. Aligning with the conference's goal of translating research into impact, I presented a deep dive into the fundamental purpose of school-based education. Sharing my literature review, I outlined the inherent tensions and benefit perspectives within the system. We explored the crucial questions of who, why, and how we navigate education's purpose, contributing to the vital effort to shape future educational outcomes.
